Design and construction of a new Student Union Building to contain approximately 58,000 gross square feet on 2-levels is included as a S.A.I.L.S. project.
Elite’s scope included multiple integrated curtain wall systems which were designed by Elite and were required to meet stringent LACCD seismic criteria.
The project included exterior and interior storefront systems as well as many skylights and 4’ diameter solar tubes. Also prominent are oversized bi-fold doors and a large interior system throughout including auto doors and transaction windows. The project also present complex waterproofing applications given the various skin elements of the building.
